| update on Morgan's eyes talked to the vet last night/ his pressure is his left eye was 43 and in his right eye is 38/ she talked to the opthlamologist from Colorado state veternairy hospital and he comes to Billings 4 times a year and when he comes he is going to look at morgan and they are going to stay in touch by ph// she said that it is probably a congenital issue especially since he is not even 2 yet/ his breeder has retired so that is a moot issue// so for now the plan is keep using the eye drops twice a day and get his pressure checked every 2 week or sooner if we notice anything and he will see the specialist. I did read Paris's blog, made me cry but i will do whatever I can do for Morgan. I just dont want him to lose his zest for life that he has. I Love that Little guy so much. |

| Praying for Morgan. He is in great hands with a mom who loves him so much. From everything I have read here and elsewhere, even if the worst were to happen and he lost his sight, dogs typically adjust very well. You have every reason to be confident that he will maintain his zest for life.

| I will be thinking about Morgan... My childhood dog went blind and adjusted very well. She knew her way around the house and yard and used her nose for a lot of things. Just know that dogs don't have to lose their zest for life... They just see things a little differently

| I have glaucoma myself and have had it for about 15 years. Take eye drops twice a day and have the pressure checked twice a year. Keep giving Morgan the eye drops and they will check his pressure and change the eye drops some times at times to get the pressure lower. Keep having faith and he will be fine. Dogs do adjust but I was told as long as I kept using the drops and getting checkups that would help me from going blind. Will keep you and Morgan in my prayers and as I do my eye drops will think of him taking his. |
