yes, same with Oscar. I was not sure if there was a right or a wrong way to keep it. it would probably look cute trimmed to match the inside of his legs . I think I will let it grow out for awhile and see how it looks. if it gets to be messy I can always trim it..

I should try and get a pic. of it... it is flipping up all around!

Haha! My guys have a little Farrah going on too. Their hair doesn't go all the way to the floor because they break it off carpet surfing and dragging it on pavement during our walks.

LOL!! I normally cut him straight across right to his tummy area so it pretty much lays flat...
It's sooo Funny, because right now it is about an inch past his Tummy area... so maybe halfway down... but there is a little flip on the ends. Its cute right now but I know it will start driving me crazy soon. LOL!!

Oh my gosh! LOL!! I will admit that I didn't even read past the first response. The pic of Oscar's butt had me on the floor in my office...my boss thought I'd lost it.

And then chachi's response about cling ons - I'm not allowed to read the rest because I have a job to do.

I trim Mandie's anal area and down the top half of her back legs.

Oscar's like "Thanks, mom." lol We used to just let our other yorkie Luna's hair grow out long there...it always looked kinda messy to me, especially if you don't stay on top of maintaining it. My groomer in the past has completely shaved Toki's bottom under the tail area. I guess it looks a little goofy but I prefer it that way

Only Razael has a full coat, because she doesn't mat, but all my girls have a bare anus. It's much better this way otherwise the hair will trap those clingons sometimes.
