I think a big factor in getting them groomed is the ears. If the groomer can make them look more round a long with the face it's soo cute.
Also just finding a groomer you really like and trust that has experience with yorkies and won't just shave the hair off.
Though I think cotton coats pull it off the best, I think I still may try it with Draco. Maybe in the spring/summer his hair was recently falling out due to allergy =[ and he's 10months so I'm still not sure how thick it could get though he's silky coated.

Old thread but my mom says Callie looks like a Boyd's bear when her hair is a bit long and she needs a hair cut.

Draco looks just like a Teddy Bear in the first picture. Sooooo cute!

Here is a better of Jilly. Resizing messes it up some. You can see the puppy cut better.
