My husband and i adopted a 5 month old yorkshire terrier cross jack russell, we arn't sure however if that is what he is.
My mother seems to think he is quite long and could have dachshund in him!
Someone else has mentioned German Shepherd but i think he would be abit bigger by now.
He does however have quite large paws, my 12 year old jack russell's paws are very small and the pups are bigger.
If he is a yorkie cross jack shouldn't they be as small as a jack russells if not smaller?

Not necessarily. There are Yorkies who do not meet standard who have large paws. Maybe there is more than 2 breeds mixed.

Post a picture and people can offer guesses.

I didn't think much of it until my mum mentioned there might be a few breeds in him lol.
Wonder what size he will grow up to be!

Would love to see pictures. Did you re size the photos? There is an area that gives info about how to resize. I hope you are more technical minded than I am.

I'd definitely say that there was a higher % of JR than Yorkie in him.

Though some are still quite skeptical of DNA Testing, it has come a long way since it's onset. I used Wisdom for my guys, maybe that's something you might consider.

Yes he definitely looks like a JR with the yorkie colouring, he's not as hyper as JR either, but then again Arnie is purebred and has never been your typical JR mostly relaxed and always wanting to cuddle rather than my sisters fox terrier cross which is mental!! lol.
Hes abit of a toy chewer (only thankfully) it seems to be his mission to destroy anything that might contain fluff!! lol.
