| Update on Macey & Boston I want to thank everyone who commented on my posts "It is over" and "My vet was careless." Your sympathies and suggestions were all read, and very much appreciated! I have done some research on this vet and found out that he is licensed, and that no one has ever filed a complaint against him before. Knowing that isn't going to stop me from pursuing justice, though. I found something out that really pissed me off. I mentioned before that the response I got from the vet's wife was "Sorry, this never happened to us before." Well apparently that isn't true. A few days later, a good friend of mine called to say she was sorry, and told me that the same thing happened to her mother's friend six years ago, at the same vet! That is when I got pretty serious... I called several vets and asked if they could perform an autopsy, and if this would indicate a death by overdose on anesthesia. They all told me that it would not work, and pretty much suggested I get over it. On another note- my family is doing well. I am trying to work something out with my breeder, who is being VERY kind about my situation (poor 18 year old.) Hopefully, I will be getting another furbaby in the next few months Boston is doing great. He is running around the house, knocking down Christmas ornaments, chasing the other cats, and being completely cute. He is lonely though... he is by someone's side so much more, now that his best bud isn't around to bite his tail and lick his head all the time! |

| I know Christmas will be sad without her. I still feel so badly for you, because I know that this didn't need to happen. Thanks for updating us and good luck in finding another little girl. Take care of yourself.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | It's a shame that you couldn't get help from the other vets. I feel bad for you. I hope that you get some type of closure on all of this. Good luck talking to the breeder about a new furbaby!
