Donating YT 500 Club Member | Pet Insurance. Trupanion I am a pet insurance nut. Will not go with out it. I have had Trupanion since Taycie was 5 months old and every thing has been covered. Truly pleased with the company! Wanted to put some new information out there about Trupanion. They just updated there Additional Benefits coverage.. They now cover: Acupuncture Behavorial Modification Bone Marrow Transplants Chiropractic Collidal Silver Treatments Gold Seal Therapy Herbal Therapy Homeopathy Hydrotherapy Hyperbaric Oxgyen Therapy Kidney Transplants Naturopathy Physical Therapy Platetlet Rich Plasma Injections Polyethylene Glycol Medications Shockwave Therapy Stem Cell Therapy Orginally to be covered for Hip Dysplasia the pet had to be enrolled before the first year of life to be elligable for coverage. They NOW include this in their base plan regardless of the age of the pet! Wonderful! And.. They do cover Congential and Hereditary Conditions No pay out limit for the life of the pet! I have seen a few threads going around about insurance.. If you want Major Cotastrophic Insurance that covers the super scary stuff Trupanion is wonderful! They saved Taycie's life!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I wish I had them I have VPI for my 3 and they don't cover so much. I am too afraid to cancel it now. Switching it now would be too expensive as mine are 5, 7 and 8 and have some preexisting conditions. I too am an insurance nut. But I am glad to know about Trupanion.

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | And no pay increase as the pet gets older...same price for the life of the pet...I haven't had to use them, but I rest easier knowing I have it. I pay 102 for all three!

| Thank you for this review!! I've recently been looking at the pet insurance companies out there and they were the top of my list as they were one of the few that covered congenital/hereditary conditions. Glad to know they are as good as they say!!

| Just viewed their website and looks like I could get insurance even though Coco's 2 yo. For those with this carrier, did you opt for any additional coverage or just basic?

Donating YT 500 Club Member | You can enroll any pet up to age Of 16 I think.. To get all the additional coverage that I listed you have to add the additional med plan then as far as medical goes you are covered!

| I've looked at it and don't think it's worth it after crunching out the numbers.
