| several of mine were climbers also, with my first one I would find him out of his crate which had me stumped then I found out I had it upside down so the top did not latch. I watched him, he climbed up the side of the crate just like a human, one rung at a time with is little paws and then pushed on the top until it opened and then jumped down. Others are right climbing up is not as dangerous as jumping down. So glad I am over the puppy stage and Lola now has free run of the house.

| I think a more feasible question is : Who has not had this happen to them? HAHAHA My boys climbed gates all the time. It was nearly impossible to keep them contained. You could stack another gate on top, but I'd worry about a potential fall from that height. You could shut the door completely if that works. It would at least keep him contained when you are not home while he's a pup still.
