| my crate restricted dog escaped! Jessie is almost three weeks into her crate restriction for a plate for her broken leg. We had done sooo well! This morning i checked her at 530 ish and she was fine, but my daughter got up at 6 and she was prancing around the family room! OMG! She got out of her crate! all I found was some shredded paper towel. She didnt pee anywhere so she musnt have been out long. Her leg looks fine and she was as happy as a clam. I gave her some meds to make her rest. but ll call the dr.s office to let them know.My heart sank... |

| Wow, has she learned how to unlatch the crate door? If so, that's pretty darn smart! Glad she seems okay.

| You can take the dog out of the adventure but you can't take the adventure out of the dog. LOL One tricky little girl you got there. If she was prancing around she probably didn't hurt anything but please update us when you talk with the vet. We don't want her messing anything up. Best wishes on her continued recovery.

| She fine. The dont need to see her unless she was walking funny or limping or swelling. Happily there is none. I figure most dogs on crate restriction go outside for 10 minutes walking around to do their business 4 times a day or more so she really didnt get any more excercise then that. (Ive barely let her walk more than 15 steps a day in three weeks! I still have no idea of how she go tout. She did have some fun shredding some paper towels! I think shes wired now as she was like a prisoner getting a taste of freedom! |
