| greasy hair morgan gets groomed every 4 weeks but am changing to every 3 weeks// he gets greasy looking after about 1 week so he gets a bath once a week with yorkie splash and shine and the conditioner/ I am wondering if I should not use the conditioner or is there something better I can use? |

My furkids Donating Member | I have 3 yorkies...1 of mine gets like that too...I use pet silk products. after about a week and a half she gets greasy looking too. my other 2 don't..don't know why

| I would try diluting the conditioner and don't leave it on as long, and be sure to rinse it out completely. It may take a few baths to figure out what is best for his coat. Or skip the conditioner and see what happens without it. Also if you're adding any types of oil to his diet, too much can end up showing up in the coat. If he's still having problems, a vet check would be in order, as some skin conditions will give an oily appearance to the coat.

| ok , thanks i will try that/ he has been to the vet for his itchy skin but since I started using yorkie splash and shine he does not itch except for his moustache after he eats which I wash off with warm water |

| Mine has oily seborrhea. We have not had much luck with regular vets treating him so they referred us to the dermatologist at Auburn Univeristy's Vet School/Hospital. We go on Monday!!
