| YorkieTalk Newbie! | This could be a good idea, because we've found the right size toothbrush for dogs their size, and the amount in the center of the toothbrush is just the right size. But, human toothpaste contains high levels of fluoride that can be deadly to dogs. You can't control if your dog swallows the toothpaste and if you think about it, we can't even swallow toothpaste. Because there's a center of human toothpaste that is both fatal and unhealthy for your yorkie, I do not recommend those. ![]() Kash |

| Kathy, Thanks so much for this suggestion. I had some of these brushes, but I never thought of popping the bead out and using them on the pups. I just tried it!! That had to be the easiest time I have ever had brushing their teeth. Especially Saydee!!

| I've been using the Wisps for cleaning Graysee's teeth for a couple of years now, albeit WITHOUT the "breath gel" bead. It's easy to remove, and as another person stated, the brushes clean up well with just a little hot water. It's the only thing that I can effectively get inside her mouth to brush her teeth. |
