| I'm so proud...kinda... We don't have a fence nor a doggie door, so we have a tendency to leave the door to the deck cracked so Huey can go potty. Yesterday, it was chilly outside, so the door was almost closed, just not latched. I was dozing on the sofa, opened my eyes and saw the Hughster working the door. He pawed and pawed at the edge until he got his foot wedged in the crack and then pulled the door towards himself (it opens inward) until he got it open enough to squeeze out. He made potty and then to get back in (the door had partially closed again), he stood on his hind legs, put his front feet on the door and pushed until it opened again. I was very proud, until he stood in front of the sofa and softly "mmmmwwwffff"d several times until I got off my lazy arse and got him a treat for good potty...

| Thats soooo cute!!! My Fletcher learned how to throw his little body in the middle of the bi-fold door to get it open! I was shocked and proud when I saw him do it, now he does it all the time! LOL Smart little buggers huh?

| Of course! He really worked for that treat. I was really surprised. In the past, he has been known to try for a brief time and if the door doesn't open readily and no one opens it for him, he will find an alternate potty spot, but those don't earn treats...
