| What kind of playpen or exercise pen do you use? As spring is just around the corner I am trying to prepare for being able to take our baby with us while outside! I would need something portable and easy to set up. During summer we spend a lot of time at our family pool and a rural area "park" (we live in the country and enjoy the out doors) But we don't want Kiki to get left at home all the time but we would need some area to keep her safe while we are swimming. Some of the covered pens seem like they maybe hot. What do you use or recommend?

| I use an Iris 4-panel indoor/outdoor pet pen. l comes apart easily and uses dowels down the sides to put them together. Lays flat in the car and then sets up in no time. No cover though, so you need some shade. |

| I got one of these to take with us on vacation. (link below) I haven't used it at the beach, but it certainly would work for that. It has mesh sides and the top zips closed so that would provide some shade. The only complaints I read about it in reviews is that it doesn't hold up well for use with puppies. The bottom is held in by velcro only and puppies quickly figure that out. I've only used it with adult dogs and they are perfectly content to stay in there. The only tricky thing is to get it folded back up. The instructions that came with it were useless, but I finally found a video on YouTube that showed me how to do it.
