| Puppy Treats Hi, I'm new here, this is my first post. I am a first time dog owner. My name is Kim and my Yorkie's name is King. He was born on October 19, 2012. His best friend is my daughter who is just 4 days older than him! They are so cute together. Anyways, my question is, what did you give your Yorkie as a treat when he was a puppy? I'm so nervous to give him anything besides dog food and water because the vet keeps telling me what a special and sensitive breed he is. He already got sick once when I had a few people over for Super Bowl and someone must have dropped some chicken because he ate it and got really sick and had to spend the night at the vets. I have dried liver here for him as a treat but I haven't given him any yet. Any treat ideas would be great! Thanks for reading this! |

| I like the Blue Buffalo treats. Stay away from anything not made in the US. Multiple recalls on chicken jerky. Give nothing from Purina. Many people recommend getting a dehydrator and making your own jerky treats. Welcome to YT and post some photos of your furbaby when you can

| I am going to pick up a dehydrator next payday and try drying my own chicken...I also have a husky besides the two yorkie so I think that might be something they all three can have...ill just cut it in different sizes. Mine seem to have semi sensitive tummies so hopefully this will be a good thing!

My Mia was born oct 24, 2012! I feed her blue buffalo treats and I recently made my own treats out of peanut butter and some other ingredients. She loves them! I also will do pieces of cheese. I don't eat meat so making any treats out of meat for her would really disgust me!
