Donating YT 11K Club Member | Barking, how can it stop?! I have to do something about Livie's barking! I live in an apartment building and she will stand at the door and listen and bark for every little noise. Even if i block the door so she can't stand near it she just loves to bark. When I am home she is more quiet but as soon as i leave she starts to bark and my neighbors tell me. I say no but she rarely listens. She's the only one that does this. Is there anything i can do while i'm gone so she doesnt bark? is there any product, etc? I don't mean collars or anything like that..but something that makes noise maybe?

| Have you tried this thread? http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...h-barking.html I found it to be helpful, but every dog is different in terms of training, ha ha. Maybe you should try making a designated noise instead of saying no?

I did want to add that when my dogs have had long walks, they are not nearly as barky as when they have pent up energy. Are your dogs getting plenty of walking, before you leave?
