| Does your Yorkie take care of you?? Does anyone elses yorkies take care of them when they are sick or not feeling well? I woke up this morning with sinus ickyness and my Chibi has been extra loving and affectionate. Right now he is literly laying on top of me. I think he knows I dont feel good but his puppy love is making me feel better Who else has yorkie nurses?

| Tibbe is the best and most persistent little nurse around. He won't let me alone when I feel bad, he's nosing right into my chest, nestling up next to me or watching me like a hawk. And he follows me like he's attacked with a lead. He is so sure that his proximity is healing and I'm kind of thinking he's right. I do feel better near him.

| How sweet are these dogs? Mine is a cubblebug anyway. When she knows I'm not feeling well or just having a bad day, she always loves up to me extra.

| Heidi does the same thing when I'm sick and will get like 2 inches from my face and stare at me like "Are you ok, mom?" If I start coughing really hard or something, her eyes get so concerned looking and she just sit there watching me. Its so sweet, and I often get one little lick out of it. That'll definitely make you feel better!

| All three of my dogs know when im not well....especially my Rosie!! Who would have thunk that a dog I haven't even had a year yet and I got as a 5 year old would be so in tune with me...but I tell you...especially when I am down in the dumps...Rosie is right there either snuggling kissing or "talking" to me...

| Over a decade ago, I got listeria poisoning. Since then my digestive system has been a wee bit off kilter. When I eat the wrong things, or I don't eat things in the right combination, I get severe stomach upsets that can last days. It's beyond painful, and absolutely debilitating. Now Pixie is an under your skin kind of dog, but Sabre is aloof and standoffish. He doesn't like hugs and cuddles and while he likes to be in our company, he doesn't want to be up under us. Last week, I ate something that disagreed with me, and have been sick to my stomach ever since. Even now, I have pains as if my stomach were cramping (about to go on a "colic drive" one of the few things that soothes my stomach once it flares up). This whole week, Sabre has been up close and up under me. Now, I haven't had a problem with my stomach since last year, I don't think I have had a stomach attack since I got him in August.. So this is his first time experiencing this with me, I think. It's just so odd to me, to have him curled up next to me, when that just isn't his style. I can tell that he's worried about me, because he knows that something just isn't right, and he wants to keep a close eye on me.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | When I get upset or emotional, Clyde is right by my side trying to comfort me. However, if I get sick he is no where to be seen (hangs out with my dad). Dexter on the other hand is my little nurse I got sick this past week and little Mr. Dexter stayed right by my side But if I get sad around Dexter he disappears into the wind. |
