Ok, so Monday night my potential baby's mama was about to have her puppies soon...as of Tuesday at around 4 o'clock there were no puppies yet. The breeder said she would let me know when they were born.

So my question is - how long do I wait before contacting her again?? It IS Christmas time, and this woman does have a life...should I just leave her alone?? I'm just so anxious to find out if I'm going to be a mommy again!

Did you put a deposit down yet or were you waiting for the puppies to be born first? Did she tell you that she was going to call as soon as the puppies were born? Wait until maybe the day after Christmas and try again. I was going through a similar situation. She had a litter due Dec 6th and another on the 9th. She told us she was going to call when they were born. By Dec. 10th, still no call back. So, my mom called again. She said they were running late. We waited nearly 2 weeks and still no phone call. We were tired of being left hanging, so my dad called again yesterday. And she said sorry none of the puppies made it. So, I am still searching for my little girl once again. Good luck! I know your little girl is just taking her time making her grand entrance into this world! She may be a Christmas Baby! Any names picked out yet?

How awful that the pups did not make it, I'm so sorry...

Well, I haven't put down the deposit yet - I'm waiting to see if there's a girl. I bought my male Tucker from this breeder, so I do have a relationship with her - she has been fantastic! She told me she would let me know either by phone or email once they were born, but again - she is probably very busy with Christmas & new puppies!! I will take your advice - waiting until after Christmas - as painful as it may be!!

No names yet - my boyfriend wants to wait until we see her. He doesn't think it's fair to name someone we don't know!

Keep us updated! Can't wait to see pictures! If you worked with this breeder before, I am positive you will get a phone call soon! She is probably just extremly busy with caring for a new litter and Christmas. And some puppies run late just like a human baby. Not all come on their due date. I know the waiting is very hard when you are so excited! I am sure there will be at least 1 female in the litter. Are you first on the waiting list for a female?

Yes - I am first in line. As a matter of fact this breeder discouraged me from getting a female from her last litter because she didn't think she was right for me. She is very honest and knows just what I want. She hit the nail on the head with Tucker!

Maybe you could email her. Just tell her that you are so anxious to know that you can hardly stand it! I'm sure she'll understand. & if you contact her by email, your not bothering her because obviously if she's checking it, she's got some time on her hands.
