I think Tia was telling you for sure, what a smart little girl.

My Sophie Kate has a very close bond with my elderly cat Avery. Being 15 years old Avery's health is not the best and he has dementia (we think). Some nights he gets lost downstairs and will let out a scared bellow type cry. Sophie Kate will get off the bed, go downstairs and herd Avery upstairs to the bedroom.

Yorkie are smart little dogs and know when their help is needed.

Awwww...reminds me of how my cats used to guide my elderly Shep/Lab around after he went blind. I had re-trained him to commands like 'step up/down' and 'go left/right' but he was very close to all the kitties and they helped him find his way, too.

I also had a kittie get my attention and guide me to the spot when another kitty had climbed up on top of a tall curio that had 'false panels' and fell all the way to the floor behind a panel and couldn't get out.

The fur babies are so sweet, smart, loving, and just so precious.

What a smart sister! Your girls are beautiful and I absolutely think Tia was letting you know of Ally's trouble. So glad all are well

Whew! Scary! I absolutely believe Tia was telling you there was a problem and trying to get your attention! So often when we are busy we kind of brush them off and they get used to that, some get timid in a way but the wonderful thing about a determined terrier is that he or she will step into the face of whatever they dislike to get their point across. They risk getting rebuffed or ignored or yelled at if they want to get your attention for a righteous reason. I just love that. Some dogs would just go lie down next to the dog in trouble and give it support and wait it out, some would go off alone and worry, but others - they keep on asking for help and if necessary, start barking like mad. If Tibbe thinks his cause is a good one, he's right in my face whether I'm busy, sleeping, working, reading, watching the end of a tense TV show with 10 seconds till the dramatic "reveal" - he goes for broke. And when his cause is good, he gets a treat and praise reward. And even if it's not, I have to laugh at his determination and hug and kiss him. He's all terrier. I swear he's my natural son!

I'll bet your Ally was SO glad to see Mommie and Tia coming to save her! Oh, and I know that moment of panic when you realized you hadn't seen Ally for a long time! Your heart nearly stops when it hits you - where is my dog?????? So happy Ally is okay and has such a brave, strong sister.
