Your dog ate something poisonous, such as antifreeze, xylitol, chocolate, rodent poison, etc. 7. Seizures and/or staggering 8. Fractured bones, severe limping or your dog cannot move his leg(s) 9. | I agree that it should be a sticky. But seriously? More than that, it should be basic common sense! Kinda makes me sad.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Excellent post, I would like to add one thing, if your dog has ingested any type of human medication, call your vet immediately! Nearly all, can be toxic to a small dog.

| Well, this is just the symptom list. The AVMA website has several separate lists for when a dog need a vet's attention. The ingested medicine list is called "10 Poison Pills for Pets" and instructs everyone to call their vet if their dog has ingested any medication not prescribed for them. The link to the AVMA website will take anyone to their lists of when a dog needs veterinary attention or care. I wish we could have all of those as a separate sticky in our Library!
