| Juliette's hair Her hair looks thin with a baby fine texture. She's 8 months old, what can I expect? Anyone experience this? My Jacks has lots of hair. I'm hoping her hair will become long and silky. |

| I'm not an expert either, but looks silky to me. Love Juliette's colors. She reminds me of my Max. Max's coat was silky from early on, but Teddy's coat continued to change until after he was 2 years old, growing silkier.

| Her hair on her head is also silver, she has a little gold coming in but mostly silver. Poor thing hasn't lost all of her baby teeth so our vet is going to pull them when I get her spayed. |

| Here on Yorkie Talk we have many threads (posts) about types of Yorkie coats and colors. Please check out the posts, you will learn so much. Briefly, Many puppies start out black and tan, this can change into dozens of different shades. Puppies with a thin whispy hair often grow beautiful silky adult coats. Puppies with fuzzy thick hair sometimes grow a cotton coat. Cotton coats may break easily, be dull, knot and mat. Show coats shine brightly like polished steel blue and spun gold. Show coats take a huge amount of time to keep them beautiful. Retained baby teeth is very common and can be removed when she is spayed. Pictures please ! We love watching them grow up. Welcome, we are happy to have you and Riley.

| Her hair is shiny at times but sometimes it looks dull. When I got Jack everyone told me I would get another, that it's impossible to have only 1 Yorkie. Needless to say they were right. Their my addiction, lol. They sleep in the bed between me and daddy, lol. If anyone is looking for a great breeder and lives close to Texas, I would recommend Carrie West from Henrietta, TX or if your closer to Alabama, Kim Mullendore, she lives close to Tuscaloosa, AL. |
