| Hi and congratulations! What a tiny baby to bring home! I agree with having a veterinary consult and tests, etc. to see what the real reason is for her to lose her hair. Bald is not a normal condition for a Yorkie, and you will want to do what is best for her whatever the reason for this issue. Until you do find out, I think I'd want to use as simple/clean/organic a shampoo as I can find, feed her as clean (chemically-free) organic food as I can, and I'd probably feed, and rub on her skin, organic virgin coconut oil. Good luck...will be looking for those pix you 'promised'......'cuz...

| Losing her puppy coat wouldn't be happing at 15 weeks and she wouldn't go bald while she does it. There is another, underlying issue going on here. I really suggest getting another Vet, if this is what your vet told you. Again, I recommend a Vet School.

Donating YT 3000 Club Member | Hello and welcome to YT. You would really talk to your vet about the hair loss and have some tests ran. It is not normal.

| Welcome to Yorkie talk...the moat awesome most informational most addictive place on the internet all about wonderful yorkie, their of course wonderful owners and a bit of other stuff too! I see in another thread someone posted some links to threads about hair loss on here..I also agree w the other posters...this is not how yorkie lose their puppy coat and if your vet isn't willing to look at things a little harder I would get a second opinion!!

| The vet told you that this is normal? Does your vet specialize in small animals? I would def. get a second opinion, this doesn't sound at all normal to me. Glad you found us and I hope you stick around.

| NO this is not normal!! Could be allergies or a harmone problem.. Be sure your Vet knows about small animals.. |
