I'm new to the Yorkietalk.com and very glad to be here. I am the mom parent of a toy Yorkie named Simba. Simba is the perfect baby, he does no wrong. When he does, it's okay because it's Simba. Simba is 9 1/2 yrs young. He is so smart and loving. It's so cute when I go to pick Him up because he stands next to me and turns to face front. As I start to lift him he jumps up so I don't have to bend way down. I guess he knows ice had 4 back surgeries. He has changed our lives so much we wonder how we ever lived without him. He had a 2 year old boxer brother and a 1 year old rottie brother. They all get along but Simba is mommy's joined at the hip baby. He is the only one that is allowed in the bedroom and of course shares our bed. Simba is the king!

Hi welcome to YT Simba is a name fit for a king! how bout a pic? Glad you found us you will find a ton of information here all about Yorkies! How long have you had Simba? I'm glad all your pups get along so well!

Just so you know, though- all Yorkies are part of the toy breed and there is no such thing as a "teacup" or "toy" Yorkie. I thought you'd want to know just in case you've been misinformed on that because MANY people try to pass off smaller than standard size Yorkies with "special" names such as those. But anyway, you've definately come to the right place for all of your Yorkie questions, needs, and chatting! =D
We can't wait to see pictures and learn more about you and Simba!

for the very warm welcome to the community. My toy Yorkie Simba is my special love. From the first day I saw him it was love at first sight. I have him since he was 8 weeks old and he stole my heart that day and continues to endear himself even more every day and has for 9.5 years. We are looking forward to many more years of love together. My husband and I always tease that we waited too long to get a Yorkie. That's not healthy thinking because we wouldn't have had Simba!

Welcome to YT. I have never had a Rotti but our sons boxers have both gotten along famously with our Yorkies. We love both the Yorkies and the boxers. Can't wait to see pictures of yours.
