| Lost tooth! Well, someone lost a tooth and Kayla was laying on it claiming it. We checked her, Lexi, Dudley and Rocky and seen nothing. It looked like a molar, so thats what we were looking at. Well, turns out that Dudley has some redness on his gums. Noticed it when I was bathing him last night and started to put the Tropiclean on him. Looked like small teeth coming in, so I thought well we found where it came from. Started to put Tropiclean on the rest of the little brood and Rocky is missing a front tooth. Must have been his. He looks like a little first grader with no teeth. THey both have to go to the vet tomorrow. Scary because they said they may have to sedate him to see what happened. He is soooo tiny. Please pray for my babies and espically little Rock if he has to be sedated. We have no idea how this happeded. |

| Took Dudley and Rocky in this morning. Both are getting dentals, blood work and whole nine yards. My vet said Rocky would evidently loose some teeth around the one that he lost. Yorkies just have teeth issues. Gave Dudley some antibotics and at least he did not have to have any teeth removed. Poor babies. I don't give them rawhide or bones because I am so afraid of them choking. Its like a no win solution. We have always done everything we could and more for our babies and this is a losing battle even when they brush and you do everything you can. I am going to start them on probotics and a multivitamin with c and see if that helps. Thanks for your prayers. These are two tiny little boys and it scares me for them to have to be sedated for anything. |

| i understand exactly what you mean. keylo has baby teeth still in with her adults rapidly coming in. i called the vet and they have to be put under no other options.. she has already been spayed prior to her coming to me and im scared to death. plus she has ct so that just worries me even more. i hope everything goes well for you and your babies i will keep them in my thoughts.

| Teeth problems just seem to be the bain to small dogs. I know you can brush and brush, if you can brush, and they still have problems. I pray your babies are ok and their mouth's feel better when it's all over. Sending good thoughts and warm prayers.

| I went and picked up the babies about 4:00pm and little Rocky was having a hard time waking up. Thank goodness my ole' vet was there and did the dental. She was just filling in until they hire a new vet. Little Rocky had to have 4 teeth pulled so he really does look like a little snaggle tooth kid. He will probably sleep good tonite with his pain meds. Dudley did real well too. Now the problem is just keeping what they have tarter free. Thats not easy with yorkies. They are on antibiotics and she also put Kayla on some since she is still having a little bit of a problem. Just remember my babies in prayer and I am so thankful my vet got to do the dental. God knows just what we need and I needed peace that they would be okay since they are so tiny. Praise God for a good report. |
