| Long time no Yorkie Talk! Hello everyone! It's been a long long time since I have posted on Yorkie Talk...I've peeked in occasionally but haven't posted. So since I've been away I have acquired a new pup lol. I had a friend who bought one and then couldn't keep it so I took her because I was looking for a little sister for Silver. Well I couldn't have gotten her, Zero, at a worse time but I was scared she would go somewhere really bad where someone would breed her. I went to Europe for 3 months maybe 2 weeks after I got her and my roommate took care of her and Silver while I was away. Well he obviously didn't care to much about training while I was gone because when I came back Silver had stopped using puppy pads and Zero hadn't EVER used one so everyone was peeing wherever they want. Also Zero had chewed up most of my new furniture. Needless to say I am very disappointed that I left them with someone who I thought I could trust. Silver has even gained weight that she doesn't need on her and her harness barely fits anymore. Also Zero is an attention freak! If you pay attention to Silver and not her she growls and whines and tries to bite Silver. She also won't let Silver play with any of their thousands of toys. If she sees Silver going after one she will go take it from her. Silver is very submissive and won't fight for it. So my girlfriend and I have been back from Europe for almost 2 weeks and Silver is back to going on puppy pads, we've also started taking her outside every 2hrs so she's going out there also. Zero on the other hand gets to excited about being outside to use it outside and still wants to use it all over the house. We take them out every 2hrs so I know Zero can hold it that long because she's almost 7 months old. Also we do praise when they go where they're supposed to. So the point of my long post is....How can I get Zero to stop peeing/pooping EVERYWHERE?! And how can I get her to share with Silver and stop being so jealous?

| Welcome Back and Congratulations! Use treats for going potty outside, or on a pad... praise is good but treats are better... really good treats even better. Walk her with Silver and let her watch Silver potty and get a treat for it. May help her to catch on. Other than that, just be persistant. Sounds Like Zero is establishing herself as 'Alpha'. You need to take control, so she sees you as her 'Alpha'. You give out the toys and take them away, Treats too. Basic training may help also, just anything where she does what you ask and earns a reward. Good luck! Hope you had a great trip!

| Yea we've been giving treats, Silver even likes to show you what she's done because she knows she's going to get one. We've been cutting her treats in half though because she's gained so much weight while we were gone. Zero used the puppy pad last night and we praised her and gave her a treat then this morning she just got up and peed in front of us so we told her no and sat her on the puppy pad. We've been taking them out at the same time too. Silver will go and be ready to come back in because she thinks its to cold but Zero thinks that it's time to go out and play. Also do you suggest we take up all toys?

| No, but take up maybe half of them and then rotate. Get exact duplicates of some too. I guess I treat my dogs like little children... no bullying allowed, lol. Reward any good behavior, like if the pup lets Silver have a toy for a bit. I reward anything I want to see more of... and intervene on anything I never want to see again. I'd also give them each some one-on-one time, and some group training time.
