| Argan Oil Do any of you add Argan oil to your pups shampoo? If you do, how do you like it? Which shampoo do you add it to? And where do you buy it?

| I don't add it to the shampoo but I do use it as a spray for brushing and combing. Mandie's hair tends to be dry so I think it helps. I just buy the spray at Walgreen's, to be honest.

| I don't add to shampoo but I rub a couple of drops into their coats. I use Moroccan Oil.

| So it comes in a spray too? I saw a bottle that you would use at drops at Ulta. I didn't realize it was available in a spray.

| I actually use it for my hair. I use 4 or 5 drops, rub my hands & massage it into towel-dried hair. Blowdry & style as normal. It hadn't occurred to me to use it on my dog, but that's a good idea if the hair is a bit dry. I'd probably just do it the same way after bathing -- towel dry and apply a few drops rubbing into the hair before blowdrying. It's also great as a deep conditioner. Apply a generous amount to the scalp and wet hair, wrap in a hot towel for 20 to 30 minutes, then wash & dry as usual. I get mine at Sephora, but many beauty supplies and health-food stores like Vitamin Cottage carry it too. A little goes a long way!

| Ok, so people with oily hair shouldn't be using it. Lol. My hair is sooooo oily!! I have been using the Black Passion line from IV San Bernard on Rosie. Which has argan oil in it. However, since my child needs braces and I will have an unexpected monthly payment, I was trying to find a way to get the same effect for less money. I was hoping adding the drops to the shampoo would give her the smooth silky feel. Does it when you just apply it right on them?

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I buy mine online at Yves Rocher. I use it myself after showering & have a small spray bottle with 1:5 (water) I use on the pups occassionally.

| I get it at Sally's or Walgreens. I just add a few drops and water and put it in a spray bottle. It is what I use when brushing mine. I also put a few drops in my hand and work it through their topknot hair and all over her body.

| I you have oily hair (scalp, really), just apply it to the ends & skip the scalp. If you're oily, you probably wash your hair a lot which can dry it out. I'll try it on Lexie next bath to see if it does make it silkier. I'm pretty sure it would. Also makes it shiny as heck!

Senior Yorkie Talker | I use it occasionally on Bentley's hair. Just a few drops. I like the Moroccan Oil best bc it almost never makes my hair or Bentley's oily. When I can't get it though, I use the Sally's brand but I have to be extra careful or Ill end up having to rewash It makes his coat super silky and shiny. And of course smells so good! |

| Okay, so I just bathed Lexie and used the argan oil on her after towel drying. OMG, her coat is unbelievable--like spun silk!!! And even shinier, too. This stuff is a keeper! Will be using it on her from now on. Thanks for suggesting it!
