Snow?

Laddy would spend all day in the snow if I let him and Kyra hates it, she does her business and wants back in. I let Laddy play for a bit and bring him in and dry him.

We had a fairly mild winter last year. Not a lot of snow. This year Gracie is rebelling against the snow. She does not want to walk in it. I try to take her out and she wants to go but when her feet touch the snow she backs into the front door. I don't think she would react well to putting boots on her but I have considered getting her the Paws. She loves to go on her walks but I guess the long spring and summer season we had this year has spoiled her. Guess I will look into some foot covering. I guess some dogs need more protection than others. Bundle up!

Just a thought, Harry won't wear anything on his feet (or anywhere else, really!) so I worry about all the salt they put down on the pavements - I wonder if you've looked at Mushers Secret on Amazon? It's a wax that dries clear, and really does protect their little paws Hope you had fun! Sally + Harry x

We have taken Katie Scarlett out in the snow many times. I always put about 3 sweaters on her and her warmest coat. She also wears socks and boots. I don't let her stay out too long. She's around 4.8 pounds and shivers at any little thing, but she adores the snow! I always have the house super warm when we go back in and bundle her up in a blanket after we take off all the snow wear. I hope your sweetie loves the snow too! Have fun!

We don't get a lot of snow in north Ga, but when we do, Huey loves it. This is the same dog who will not go outside to potty if the ground is wet These were a couple of years ago. No good snow yet this year.

My friends 6lb girl loves the snow! Jackson is a snow freak - he's bigger boy tho and doesn't really get cold easily. But I have always encouraged new things from the time he was young. Don't walk out there and be like "oh baby youre so cold!" and give off that vibe. Make it exciting! Throw some snow up in the air, be all like YAY-type attitude, lol.
