Just reading your thread and feeling your excitement and frustration. Hoping this finds you on your way or already back with your baby dog! If not and weather still bad, I'm so sorry and hoping and praying it gets better ASAP.

Really sorry about the delay! I know how anxious you can be when you know it so close to time to bring them home. Sending prayers, angels wings, and warm thoughts to you and your family!

This has been the worst nightmare of a day! We're STILL not home! UGH! Two hours from home and the transmission went out on my car. No shops open until Monday. Waiting for my dad to come pick us up. So worried about Sam and Piper. Poor babies have had such a long day. Will post when we finally get home!

Well, it's almost 11:30 p.m. and we are finally home. I'm so freaking exhausted! What. A. Day! Sam is tucked into his bed with his blanket and a stuffed toy. Poor baby is bushed. He ate some kibble and a scrambled egg, peed on the potty pad, and pooped in the kitchen floor.

Hopefully I'll get some pics tomorrow. Right now, my eyeballs are rolling, I'm so tired!

A horrible journey to get your baby, but a great story and start with your new family member.

This is a sign that you will have lots of great puppy stories in the days, months and years to come.
