| Colors? I know when Joey was born he had pretty much the same colors, and also the same patterns as he does now. But with the black/tan or black/gold yorkies is there any way to know what their colors are going to be when they are older? Do all of them change to silver? I kind of feel dumb for asking..lol I want a black and gold yorkie, but I dont want it to have the silver-y hair, if I can help it.

| Kyra was called black and tan as a baby. She as you can see is still very dark. My DH picked her out after seeing her mama who stayed dark also. We had lost Lolita who was very blond so he wanted the opposite for me this time. We love her dark color. The one picture is her at 8 weeks and the others are recent. You might be able to tell more by seeing the parents before choosing the puppy. Laddy has the silver back but we love it also. Kyra is 14 months old now

| Kyra is gorgeous, and her coloring with the contrast of her pink dress and bow is striking.

| I love the darker yorkies, her 'streaking'to looks like the low-lights I used to pay a bundle for! I imagine some of the best breeders still get a surprise out of the coloring their pups end up with at maturity.

| I love the standard yorkies but to me some of these surprises are just too beautiful. I see so many pretty yorkies on here that are different colors than standard.
