| Friends baby is possibly breed... My friends 3lb 7month old is possibly breed and her vet has advised her to wait it out. She is scared to death...pup is gaining weight and boobs are getting bigger this was her first heat of course. Please help! Any advise will be helpful |

| I would do an emergency spay her body at 3 pounds can not handle a pregnancy and it could kill her.

| What vet would say wait it out? Let alone on a dog under 5 pounds!? They do say the heat must be over for a full 10 days to stop the flow to blood vessels, but it is veterinary standard to reccomend and perform a spay abortion. Something here isn't right...

| This baby is so young & tiny, hoping & praying that she's not pregnant...If she is, I don't even know if she can carry the babies to full term, she's def gonna need a c-section. Maybe the vet meant wait to see if she is indeed pregnant? Do you know what kind of dog tied w/her?
