| Do they help?...because Jada tends to get right on the very edge of the pad to pee and she always pees a little bit on the floor.

| As long as she stands all the way in the holder. Course, sounds like your pup is gifted - she pees outside of the box! |

| I would like to know this too. Mikki gets just as much off the pad as on it.

| Ha! Well, I have some for sell!! Lol! I always reward mine if "they tried" lol! Sometimes, they mean well but don't quite hit the mark! We now use washable pads so we don't use the holders anymore

| Here's my experience with a pee pad holder: Never used one. Then, last week, I decided to give it a try. That evening, suddenly, I hear Mandie just going crazy barking at the doorway to the room where it was. I thought maybe she heard something or saw a bug. I turned on the light and then it dawned on me...she was barking at that strange plastic thing sitting in HER SPOT. lol I took it up immediately because she would never had gone on it seeing as how she thought it was the enemy.

| Michelle, does Bogie use pads too? Does he lift his leg? I heard Kristin say she uses a water bottle with a potty pad around it so her boys have something to aim for. Wondering what setup you use. This boy thing is still baffling to me. Also, what age was Bogie neutered? No advice about the pad tray but curious about it as Luma does sometimes go on the corner.

| I don't use a holder, but I do put a larger washable pee pad under the disposable pad, so there is an extra 3 inches or so of washable where the disposable ends. It usually catches everything if ZoE gets too close to the edge.

| I have a boy and he squats on the pad but lifts his leg outside. Hes not neutered. But the pad holder seems like a good idea because with him running in and out of hiss pen like a lunatic, he always crinkles it up.

![]() Jada tends to always squat right on the edge no matter what my set up. I do use washable pads and disposable and have the huge washables. She still gets right on the edge.

| The first day I had Gracie home as a puppy I realized I should have purchased the frame for her puppy pads. So back to the store I went. I bought the Out brand frames that are no longer available at our local store. It solved the problem for me. But Gracie was never caged with a pee pad frame so she never had the free time to work on digging into the framed pad. The frames I have go down over the top of the pad and lock into place. It is very secure. Any pup that tries to dig into the pad would need to be taught not to do that. I have seen some less secure frames that would not work for a minute. Amazon has some of the more secure brands available. Walmart is selling a Simple Solution brand frame that, to me, appears worthless as far as preventing a puppy from stealing the pad away. |

| Mine loved the pee pad holder when I tried it. As soon as I was out of sight, they took to shredding the pad to pull it out of the holder ![]() My friend put her pee pads in a litter box and that helped with the pee-off the pad. It is so funny when you see their front paws on the pad, they pee off the pad, and then they look at you as if to say, "I am on the pad." |

| We put our pads on a large rubber mat. It doesn't hold the pad in place, but it is extra insurance in case the pad gets full and one of the boys goes too close to the edge. I don't use the bottle, but I know that works for a lot of people. We just keep our pad a few inches from the wall to prevent leg lifting. Then Max does a squat with one foot off of the floor.

| I tried the holder. They ended up peeing on the edge of the holder. It's now sitting in our basement.

I tried the puppy patch and they wouldn't get on it at all. I even tried putting a pee pad on top of it. They would pee in the floor right beside it. I am cleaning my laundry room floor everyday, but at least they are getting close.
