| Dog food size question I have a question. When Callie had her tooth fixed she had to eat food in pudding consistency so when I was switching her back to the regular dry food I put it in a Ziploc bag and hit it a few times with a meat tenderizer and it mostly just broke the pieces into half a few into three pieces. Well she really really likes her food better broken up like that and she is eating Acana so the pieces are kinda big for my little princess who likes small bites lol so do you think its ok to do this all the time?

| I think it's ok. If she's eating it, and it's not making her tooth/ teeth hurt, it should be fine. I'd hate for her dental work to get messed up.

| Maybe do a bit more than what you need for 1 meal? Like, do enough for a day or two, then she doesn't have to wait.

| I did that for one of my previous yorkies. My two now like it when I put a little bit of warm water on their food - almost makes a little gravy and softens up their food just a little bit - they gobble it up. |
