| Take THAT bad chicken jerky! Today both Petco and PetSmart announced on Facebook that they are taking the recalled jerky off their store shelves! Petco's post: Due to voluntary recalls, Milo’s Kitchen Chicken Jerky and Chicken Grillers Home-Style dog treats, and Canyon Creek Ranch jerky treats are currently unavailable at Petco. As an alternative to these products, we recommend you try another jerky treat from our leading selection of Made in the USA jerky brands: American Jerky, Natural Balance, Colorado Naturals, and Carolina Prime. For details on both recalls, go here: Nestle Purina PetCare Company to voluntarily withdraw Waggin' Train® and Canyon Creek... -- ST. | Woo Hoo. Glad to hear it. I'm sure most pet owners are like I was before joining YT...clueless about any bad products or recalls. Hopefully this will bring more attention to the problem.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Thanks for sharing that. Just today, the woman at the coffee stand saw my dogs in the car and gave me some chicken jerky for them. I threw it away.

| My local Walmart had pulled all the treats and most of Purina dog food. All that was left was Purina 1 smart blend chicken and rice and Lamb and rice.

| I doubt they sold out of everything Purina in dog food but I guess it is possible. Is the food bad as well?
