| I used to use it but I have never had flea issues, but after trading vets to one that is known for being great in our area but very very expensive he told me that it does not kill fleas till they bite the pup so he could still get the dieases and it is a toxin that stays flowing thru their system and since yorkies are known for liver issues it really was not in my best interest to risk my fur child's health.

| Used Comfortis for the first time this past summer on all 3 of mine. Within 1 hour of ingestion they were ALL staggering around the house like they were drunk. Drooling, shaking and very lethagic. Scared the HE!! out of me. Never again. Called the vet and was told this is a possible reaction and they would return to normal in a few hours. NEVER AGAIN!!!

| I use on two of my 3. I have never had a problem with it all. The one I don't use it on she too small. ( 3 pounds) It CAN NOT be used on dog's under 5 pounds.

| I use it on mine. Only thing that seems to work for fleas here. My vet has me cut the pill in half and give them each half. Mine are 2.8 and 4.8 lbs and she said to try this. It seems to work great. Never had issues with it at all.

| I used it on our boxer about a year ago and NEVER again. Yes it killed the fleas but he had a horrible reaction to it. He was lethargic, swollen eyes and just looked out of it. it faded after a few hours but it scared us so bad. Hw was three years old at the time. He hasn't had fleas since then luckily.

| I have three dogs and I live where the fleas are really bad....I use comfortis and have never had any problems and my animals have no fleas as long as I use it monthly. My yorkie also has flea allergies and as long as she is on comfortis the allergy is under control with no other meds used. Nothing else as worked to keep the fleas under control... |

| Thanks so much for the info. I got it today and so far so good my area is bad for fleas and nothing seems to work. I've bought the cheap stuff and the most expensive. So I hope this one works. Gwen |

| I've used it with no problems for almost 2 years. They have one for dogs under 5 lbs now and for cats too!

| I used to use comfortis, but Huey has been on trifexis for about 1 1/2 years. He never had any problem with the comfortis; it was just cheaper to have him on the combo pill instead of one for fleas and one for heartworms. He is mostly an inside dog, but I didn't want to take the chance of him getting fleas and there is no way I'm putting that greasy frontline on my pretty dog! The trifexis seems to be great. We even went to the beach and he didn't get sand fleas, either.
