				 | Remy was charted to 3 1/2 pounds.. she is 5.25 lbs now at 3years old. I was very happy when she reached over 4, her body structure needed the weight.

				 | When Gracie was a year old she was a skinny fragile looking little thing. I felt much better when she put some weight and muscle on her body. I was always afraid she was going to hurt herself before that. She had no idea how little she was and was always doing scary feats of daring. She is still little but at least she has some padding now and thankfully she has given up her acrobatic act. |

| YT 2000 Club Member | Well, in the last couple of weeks Teeka had a growth spurt....she is now weighing 3.7 lbs. I guess that is small compared to some other yorkies. I have 2 foster yorkies that are 11 lbs. & 7 lbs. She is small compared to them! Small with a big personality, that is!

				 | Blazer is 7 months and has been holding steady at 6 lbs with the same length and height for a few months now. I hope he is done growing, he seems perfect as he is now! =)

				 | Minnie is 1yr and 5 months old she was born 8/5/2011 she weighs 3.1 pounds. I noticed she gained weight ever since i had her spayed, is that normal? she got fuller and a little heavier. she is still tiny though lol...

| I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Yes, it's normal, at what age did she get spayed? They continue to gain as long as 1 ½ years, if she gained after that, it may be due not to overall growth, but fat. Even though she's tiny, ask the vet if she needs to lose weight, extra ounces can be hard on joints. Some of the smallest ones have weight problems because they need so little food, and owners tend to over feed.

				 | thanks for that info. i only feed her 1/4 of a cup a day and she finishes it. im sure if i gave her more she would eat it all but i dont want her to be overweight either. i will ask the vet next time i take her in. she had her first heat cycle then got spayed. i believe it was in sept or october i have to look at her paper work.
