| If you want a long coat and you want it to look nice a weekly bath is pretty much necessary. The shampoo you are using has sulfates in it and it could very well strip the skin and coat despite the fact that you are using a conditioner. Many people here use all natural or organic products on their dogs in order to bathe weekly and not damage the skin or coat. Right now I am using the Yorkies Splash and Shine products but there are other good all natural dog lines. Some people like Isle of Dogs. It might be easier on you to comb the dog out before a bath. Then you would not have so much of a job combing out. Just like with your own hair. |

| I bathe Shelby weekly... We use the YORKIE Splash and Shine also... Love it and she is so silky that I'm letting her hair grow out a little longer...
