				 | It sounds like she is quite sick. I don't think would wait a week to take her to the vet. Most vets sell a thing called a pill popper. It is a plastic syringe like thing that goes into the back of the throat and then you pop the pill down the throat. They usually work pretty well. They only cost about $5.00. Did you try fresh ground meat? Usually dogs love some raw meat because they usually don't get it very often. Last edited by gracielove; 12-22-2012 at 08:30 PM. |

				 | Glas you are going back to the vet, see if they can take the pills they already gave you and crush them into a liquid (sometimes they have chicken flavor) get a needless syringe and it sounds rough but... Have the vet demonstrate fingers behind k-9 teeth hooked and holding head back dropping liquid in. Its not the nicest but when they beeds meds it's better than staying at vet's on IV.

				 | She sounds like she is sick. An ear infection can be very painful and could cause her temp to go up. If they are giving her an antibiotic she really needs to get it regularly for it to work properly. Hope she gets feeling better soon. Try not to touch her ears when you pet her or play with her. If they are very painful it could cause her to bite or nip at you. |

				 | we are trying to get her to take the pills. but we might have to have the liquid to give her. she wont like staying and I wouldn't like it either if they had to do the iv and stay till she better. I would tell them to find something else. I will tell them she not stay not even few hours there with out me no matter what. I had to leave her one time when she got fixed and I had it then. just trying to look up other way to find out how to give her pills. |

				 | I hide a pill in a tiny bit of chicken baby food, but I get them licking it first with no pill, then hide the pill, then have another blank taste ready right behind the taste with the pill, so they think about the next bite instead of the lump in their mouth. Cold baby food is a bit thicker than room temperature baby food so it may be easier if the pills are larger than smaller.

				 | Make sure any peple food doesn't have dog toxic ingredients such as onions etc. I used Earth' Best baby food, many use Gerber.

				 | Praying your little baby gets better! Please be patient, when they don't feel well, they get very nervous about everything
