| have you tried a tea bag.....you put it in a small amount of boiled water...remove squeeze extra liquid and have her hold it wrapped in a paper towel as long as she can. my daughter and i both use this method it helps to make it not hurt and heal.

| ive done it many times in one day with a bad stye...my daughter also. i dont believe its harmful by any means to my knowledge anyway.

| Make sure the compress isn't too hot. The hot water can injure the eye, cause a corneal ulcer. Is this a bump on the lid? Max had one and I used warm compresses too. If it doesn't improve within a couple of days, I would see your vet.
