Welcome. This is a good place to learn about how to look for a Yorkie. There are "sticky" threads at the top of each forum category that have lots of good info. There is also a library for good reading. Do you plan on getting a puppy or a rescue or haven't you gotten that far yet?

I don't even know where to begin to look for the right place for one because I know there are places that aren't very trust worthy, I don't think I would have that problem here it looks like.

| Hi, and welcome! I have seen several Yorkies, and other breeds, in a rescue situation where two are a 'bonded pair' and the rescue wants them adopted together. If this is your situation, you might try contacting rescues, etc., near you and let them know that is what you are looking for. I live in FL and sometimes it happens here that older Yorkie parents have health issues or even pass away, leaving bonded pets behind. It would be a wonderful opportunity because you would not typically have to worry about getting them used to each other either. I hope you find exactly what you are looking for!

thank you, search is looking grim right now but hopefully with a little more effort i'd be able to find what i'm looking for. and plus that sounds like what i'm looking for because one seems sad to me by its self. plus i'd like one for my daughter as well.

There are some people here on YT involved in Yorkie rescue. It is true that you do have to be careful about choosing a good reputable rescue. There are some so called "rescues" that are really just ripping people off. There are some very good ones, too. Hopefully there is someone who knows a good rescue in your area.
