| At my local Walmart, I march right in with HRH Dallas in his Kwiggy Bo. No one ever says a word to me. But the Walmart parking lot is the last place on Earth I would leave him alone. What really made my blood boil this week was Miley Cyrus' yorkie was killed by her bull dog, and how they just hand waved it away. Why she wasn't supervising a toy breed with a dog that was bred for fighting was beyond me. Miley Cyrus Loses Another Dog | The Dogington Post |

| I keep one of my Kwigy Bo bags in my car ALL the time for this very reason. If I have to stop anywhere, I pop her in her bag and in we go together & no one is the wiser.

| That's probably what an undercover FBI agent would say too, but I'll take your word for it.

YT 2000 Club Member | So, someone tell me WHY can't our yorkies come into some or most stores? I seriously know my dogs are cleaner than some people I see in stores or eating places! It burns by butt when they are not allowed because of sanitary reasons!

| Stores don't want to deal with the inevitable liability issues if you put your carrier in a basket and turned away, the dog was stolen. Or someone or a child who is phobic of dogs panics and hurts themselves running from a barking dog in a carrier. Or your dog is hurt in the carrier by falling merchandise, etc. And that's not to mention the nuts who would no doubt take flea-covered dogs in and shop forever, allowing the little critters to exit the carrier and craw all about in the store. Then, no doubt one or two would take them from the carrier inevitably and who knows what a dog will do if someone reaches over and tries to pet it or what happens should it jump from the cart into the floor and get hurt. Also, you know some people will bring in biting dogs and little children or anybody is not safe around those type dogs. Just some of the things that will always keep businesses from freely allowing dogs on their premises because all these incidents or others like them could generate lawsuits, aside from the health department concerns. Then think of those that will bring in the dog that just stinks to high heaven feces hanging from its coat and drives a lot of customers out. A lot of people don't have our same values and the misery and yuck factor not to mention danger bringing wholesale dogs into a place of business is just not practical with some of the customers they would have. And they don't dare try to limit it to sizes as that would raise all kinds of issues with somebody carrying in a 30 lb. dog and saying "but he's tiny!" or claiming they are discriminating against their dog and on and on. And then the personnel could be distracted from working petting dogs so I don't see businessmen and women ever allowing it.

| They stated that if her dog is found and returned, she will probably be charged with cruelty to animals for leaving him alone in the car. She said that she only left him along for a couple of minutes, but a couple of minutes is a couple of minutes too long.

| So scary to know how fast those thieves can open a locked car door and be gone with your little one!

| I would never leave my dogs in the car for even a minute. As is I worry about people seeing them in my apartment window and breaking in my apartment. Luckily I live in a pretty safe area but you can never underestimate how low some people will go to make a quick buck.

Thats such a common mistake, and shouldnt be put on all "bully" breeds. I had a pitbull who wouldnt hurt a fly, and would probably attack if somoene tried to hurt anyone in my family, including sibling pets.

| I dont know how to quote 2 people at once...so I was just responding to another persons thread at the same time. I dont think it was purposeful. Probably an accident, and I was just responding that I dont think bully breeds should be attacked because of it.
