| ![]() Nilla was microchipped I'm pretty sure the first day I took her to the vet for a puppy health check! I was determined! If she got away from me or was taken, I don't know WHAT I would do. She's not only my dog, she is my best friend. I think FOR ME it was $35-ish and no yearly cost. I go to the more expensive clinic in town though because my friend is a vet assistant there and I knew she would make sure my baby is taken care of! ^^ Definitely go for the chip. It's nothing you have to upkeep (except updating weight, health conditions, and such online), and it's a little more peace of mind if something were to happen! Good luck! ![]()

| ![]() It is inconceivable to me not to chip my babies! If you're going to go to all the expense that comes with Yorkie ownership, why not microchip? It is a small price to pay for such peace of mind! |

| ![]() I had Gracie chipped when she was spayed. I paid about a $45.00 registration fee and have never had to pay another cent. There have been so many stories lately of lost and stolen Yorkies that I would not hesitate to chip my dog. The humane society was putting out warning this year and last about the rise in the theft of Yorkies and other small breed dogs. I also keep a cat collar on Gracie with an ID tag. During her first year she was an escape artiest. She has stopped that behavior but you cannot be too careful with these babies. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ![]() The PROS of microchiping override the Cons, so please consider microchiping your dog , every dog that leaves my house is microchiped. hugs, |

| ![]() Definitely microchip! Not all companies charge, Henri has a PetLink microchip and it's free for a lifetime listing, and you can add as many pets to your account as you like, they even send me emails every now and then to make sure the info on the listing is up to date. Microchipping isn't expensive and can definitely make a difference if your pet gets lost ![]()

| ![]() Heres a little story. Gizmo went to live with his new Mom and Dad and a week later I get a phone call from a Kennel in Columbus Ohio saying they have my dog. I had him chipped. Seems the new Mom and Dad went to visit friends in Columbus and when someone opened the front door. he bolted. If he would not have had his chip, he would never have went back to his Mom and Dad. I make sure all of mine are chipped.

| ![]() The SPCA usually does it for 5 bucks so it is worth it. And when I microchipped Mr. Hankey they told me there was no other fees for the microchip. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Thanks so much for checking, I just wanted to make sure that the price included everything. I'm not sure every town has this service, but from now on, I'll suggest they check with the SPCA too!

| ![]() Could not agree more. Any extra little chance to find a lost Tibbe is well worth any price.
