| Christmas gifts for our doggies Are your doggies getting Christmas gifts this year? Mine are They are getting their first ever hide-a-squirrel toy which took me forever to find. For playing fetch on the beach, they get a bunch of tennis balls that will hopefully last the year. And I bought our second Kong treat ball. We adored it until one of my parents' staffies destroyed it. I love watching Cash roll and bounce the ball around to get the treats out. I placed an order online and I'm excitedly awaiting the delivery. I'll post a photo when they arrive. I don't think I'll be able to wait until Christmas before giving them to the dogs!

| All my "kids" got a new bed....one of those enclosed type beds, that looks like a mailbox....they had a huge sale someone on here talked about....I went nuts at 10.00 apiece, and got beds for everyone! Got a HUGVE SQUARE bed for giant dogs...am going to use that for whelping...then I got the same bed in medium, that will fit in the whelping pen after everyone is born and doing fine! They are all getting bully sticks, and home made chicken and beef jerky, we got some new squeeky toys, some rubber for the ones that like rubber toys, and some like the plush squeeky toys.....got a couple interactive toys they have to work to get the treats out of...they all got ME a dog bisquit maker that looks like a waffle iron, only it is bone shaped and comes with receipes for different dog bone treats and dog cookies....they saw it on TV and couldnt wait to get it for me....I saw what it was as the younger girls were "wrapping" it for me!! (remember, I am talking about dogs here!)....there is method to their madness though!!! Last edited by Yorkiemom1; 12-10-2012 at 10:17 AM. |

| Mine think every package that gets delivered is for them. So I suppose I should order something for them. I'm thinking about a new cloud 9 bed from Yorkie Haven Rescue's boutique. They can't have too many of those.

| P-Nut is the only one I've done any shopping for yet - I may be going a leeetle overboard. He 's getting some new interactive toys, more Nylabone Nutridents, a new blankie, a Snoozer car seat (couldn't wait, gave that to him already and he loves it), some shirts, a new ex pen and hopefully a new Buddy Belt. And I'm sure I'll come up with more over the next couple of weeks. After what he's gone through the past few months with 2 FHO surgeries, I figure our boy gets to have an awesome Christmas!!!! |

Zachary's Mom Donating Member | George and I don't exchange gifts anymore but the Santa Claws takes care of our furkids VERY well!! Having 6, they tend to have disagreements about food. Only 2, my male Japanese Chin, Yumble and my Biewer Yorkie, Zachary, really play with toys. None get rawhide but rather split deer antlers and cow hooves only. So for Christmas, they each get a little packages of bisquits to open. We also buy a few toys which everyone likes for the first 2 minutes and then are enjoyed by Zachary and Yumble from then on. I have found Amazon.com is a good place to get dog toys. I also have Amazon Prime for free 2 day shipping on many products so that is my main place to buy (Ebay overseas sellers are reasonable also). YT 500 Club Member | My two babies are getting a small real kiddy tent with an attached tunnel with it. They just love running through them. I figured the tent could be their little hideout with blankets and toys. And of course come and go in through the tunnel! What fun, they'll be so excited xmas morning!

| The hide a squirrel toy sounded so neat that I went to Amazon's site and found them and had to have one for Amy for Christmas. Have already gotten her 2 sweaters, 6 toys, bully sticks and Himilayan treats but couldn't resist one more toy. Also looked at the Snoozer car seat which I totally love. Amy has a booster seat that she sits in when we take her in the car but the Snoozer car seat looks better. Still deciding on that. |
