Hi all! Just wanted to update. I did take Hepburn to the vet on Friday morning. The vet looked him over and said that he didn't want to run any unnecessary tests, but he did run a blood panel to make sure everything there was in order. No problems at all! He checked his neck and said it felt fine, but Hepburn was also bit on his neck 2 years ago and had extensive repair surgery (external and internal stitches in 4 layers) so he said it could be because of that. He also said that if it happened again (which it hasn't since then) I should come back in right away so he can see how Hepburn is acting and go from there. The next step would be an xray of the area, but since he needs go under anesthesia for that, we are waiting first to see if it was just a one time thing. Thanks for the tips and I am glad I went to the vet. I feel better knowing that his blood work was clear. He doesn't even have an eye infection, just irritation from a hair in his eye!

JMHO, I would get the xrays done before another occurance...
