| Welcome to YT! I'm sorry for the loss of your chi. That's horrible! Congrats on Ming, though! What a cutie! When they are young, I would suggest having plenty of pee pads handy and a tube of Nutri-cal. The young ones are prone to hypoglycemia so it's good to have some nutri-cal on hand. Other than that, just ask any questions as you come across them. There are tons of people here that can help. I wouldn't have made it my first few months without these great and informative people.

| I'm so sorry about the tragic loss of your little Chi. I hope your new puppy is a real delight for you. There is a library here on YT that is a good source of information. Each of the different forums have a "sticky" area at the top that have some helpful info. You can't learn too much about these little ones. When I got Gracie it was several months after I lost my 15 year old Shih Tzu. I really did not know a lot about the Yorkie temperament before I got her. I had never owned a terrier. I was in for quite a surprise! She was a terrorist of a little puppy and I was at a loss at first as to how to deal with her! Just be prepared. They are wonderful, highly intelligent and energetic babies. |

| There are many good forums regarding new puppies and training etc. my only advise is for the greatest success that you not take a puppy that is younger than 12 weeks old. You didn't say how old he will be when you get him. There are forums that will explain the reasons for that. Will be eager to more pics!
