I have the Red Lexington Carrier. The only problem I have is that Lola is that she pops her head out of the top (she's big). The top of the bag closes with just one magnet/snap. Attached are some pics of Lola with the bag to give you an idea about size.

I have three types of carriers that look like the ones you have picked out. The type of carrier I prefer is the kind tthat you wear on your chest where you can really keep an eye on him/her/ I have the blue jean type which is flexible and snuggly with a blanket lining the pack..

Lola is almost 5 1/2 pounds. She's too wiggly to let me measure her height correctly but her. I measured standing from the ground to her top front shoulders...9" tall!
