Well she finally ate some kibble this morning. She saw Uni gobble hers down. I handed her some, but she wasn't too keen on it, it's fish formula you know. Took it and spit it out. Uni tried to go for it, so she picked it up and slowly crunched it. She took the next few pieces ok, but still didn't eat a full serving. But still didn't want Uni to get her portion.

But I got some hard boiled egg out for myself for breakfast and guess who came over. So both the girls got some.

Do you only feed Uni fish formula kibble? Kaji is starting to eat it because all chicken all the time was getting boring. He still prefers the chicken but eats enthusiastically if there are 4-5 pieces of fish too. I think he likes the smell.

I have been for a while now, but I also do Honest Kitchen on occasion and she LOVES that. I usually mix that with chicken or egg. I am currently feeding Holistic Select. It's the lowest fat one I found with ingredients I like, and it has glucosamine, omegas, and probiotics in it. Price is not bad either, about $17 a bag. For one dog lasts me well over a month.

Yeah, she's still a little confused as to what is going on. Still looking around to see if she spots her people. I'm trying to spoil her right now to gain her trust, but I don't want to spoil her too much, as they said she was very demanding and princess-y, you know, like a yorkie so I don't want her getting too comfortable too fast. LOL

She wasn't even supposed to sleep up in our bed last night. We took away the steps so she couldn't come up. But she was able to jump up without them! I figured she put forth the effort, may as well let her stay up there. There's a nice comfy bed on the floor, and closer to the heater too! but I guess she wanted up with us. That's a good sign though.

Hhmmmm...... I may give that a try since Gordo here is starting to pass on his kibble.

It's kind of a hard brand to find. They don't have it at Petco or Petsmart. I get it at my local feed store. Centinella might carry it. They have a bunch of different varieties if you can't take the fish kibble smell.

I buy Kaji's food at boutiques. I'm sure one of them carries it. It's not expensive either. <$20 and the kibble lasts 2.5 months.
