| Hi I'm Alison and I'm new to the forum! :-) Hi I'm Alison and I live in Romney WV....I have a handsome mini Yorkie named Jazzie Boi and he's my emotional support therapy dog. He just turned 2yrs old a couple days ago!! I'm disabled due to lupus and a brain injury, and Jazzie has been the best thing to ever happen to me! My parents help me a bit financially like with vet bills and medicines for him, because I'm on a very fixed income. We don't have much, but me and Jazzie are very rich at heart! I recently moved into my first home and although it's been a huge struggle and I'm sleeping on the floor due to lack of furniture, we r so happy here! My Jazzie is such a character and loves kids and people and even cats lol!! Some dogs he's not too sure about, but he loves my parents' standard poodle Gabriel. They're best buds! I hope to make lots of new friends here that luv their YORKIES as much as I do! Thanks for welcoming me on here! -Alison & Jazzie |

Zachary's Mom Donating Member | Welcome!! Sincere welcome! I live in Houston, TX with my DH and 6 little dogs, only one of which is a Yorkie (a Biewer Yorkie in fact). My DH is legally blind since birth. I am disabled and retired early in February, 2012 at 64. I have no health insurance till January 1. I HAD drug induced Lupus that they never could figure out what caused it. It is gone now, thank God but I went through a real struggle. Now I am dealing with arthritis in both knees, one foot, both hands and one arm. I also have Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis caused by Autoimmune Hepatitis (not contagious), Grave's disease and Hashimoto's Disease. I don't have many days I feel really well anymore. BUT, like you, my little ones are therapy dogs. If it was NOT for them, I would probably just pull the covers up over my head in the morning and not get out of bed. I adore my DH but my little rug rats keep me going from day to day. Looking forward to photos and your posts, Louise, Twinkie, Gizmo, B, Yoshi, Sir Yumble and Zachary (the Biewer Yorkie) |
