NICE! My grandmother was going to give me her 1964 1/2 mustang (that she bought in '65) but my aunts convinced her to donate it to a museum. Bitches. My grandmother is a HUGE pink fan and she had painted it pink in '65. I would have kept it that way, LOL. Original was that pea yellow. |

Hmm maybe I am just being a spoiled brat and being picky lol but another puppy has become available and sadly for some reason I just help but think "ummm there are actually yorkies that are not cute??" Maybe it's just her haircut or the angle of the picture hmmm lol |
I use alligator clips but I put her hair in a ponytail with a rubber band first then slide the clip through her hair so she want be about to pull it out. I think she likes is better that way then me putting the clip to hold her hair. |
There is an excellent rescue in Florida, United Yorkie Rescue, they do excellent work and sometimes put thousands of dollars into their babies. They do ask a few hundred dollars for the dogs but considering what they put out that is a nominal fee. Not all their rescues are that sick. Many are just needing new homes. There are people here on YT who belong to and support them. They do great work. They also make and sell a bows, sweaters and other things to help raise money for the organization. I am sooo confused... I love love love the little girl that needs a new home!! And the breeders as nice as they are and all I just have odd feelings about BUT how do you ask for a deposit back?? I also wonder if a 8 week old puppy is best to be around my VERY hyper Guinness compared to a hyper 7 month old female that also the bonus is she is house broken lol |
How did you pay them? Maybe you can get your money back |

I love that you are collecting bows. Khaleesi came from the breeder with the rubberband type in her hair, and it looked like it was pullling so I cut it out right away. Ever since I have been trying to find something BESIDES elastic that will stay in her silky slick hair with no success. I have tried velcro and tiny barrets, super light-weight bows, super tiny boys, and once I even stuck a piece of double sided tape on her head with a piece of ribbon stuck to it. That stayed for a bit, but it wasn't exactly useful OR attractive! The problem is two-fold. She has super thin, shiny, slick hair on her head AND she paws and/or rubs at anything I put in it until she gets it off. Her hair is FINALLY getting long enough to where she could use one now, though. Before I give in and go back to the rubber/elastic/stretchy/whatever they are bows, I think I will give the snapon bows that were recommended a try. Thank you for starting this thread! |
I'm sorry - I responded before I finished reading the entire thread. Maybe you could tell them the truth - that there was a puppy already promised to you, but that you thought the arrangement fell through when you made your deposit on this one. Now, the deal is going through and you just can't handle two puppies. Besides, the second one sounds too young! |
