Boarding in Houston TX My daughter and her husband are planning on coming back home in IN for Christmas. They are flying, they can not fly their 100 pound lab mix. So if one of their friends can't puppy sit do any of you in Houston know of a reasonable and responciable place they can board at? She looked up some places Fri and found a 25 dollar price per day. Ouch. Their planning on staying here for a couple of weeks. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure they don't have a vet down there yet. She was vetted before they left Indy and will be home before her year is up. But she could call around some of the vets offices I'm sure. Thanks.

I dont think they will do any better than $25.00/day for a dog that size!! I used to board mine at Rover Oaks, and was very pleased with the carew they received there....but that was quite a while ago and they were charging more than $25.00/day for my little Yorkies. I am sure they are more than that now....but you dont have to worry yourself to death if your pet is being cared for....peace of mind, to me, is priceless.
