| Oatmeal Shampoo I have a question about Oatmeal Shampoo. I doggy gets real itchy after his bath's. The good people at Pet's mart said that it would help him. I pretty sure it's not food allergies because he is really picky eater. Has anyone have this problem and does this shampoo help?? Thanks Stephanie |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Hi Stephanie - lots of people swear by Oatmeal shampoo - I think a GOOD one works better than some of the cheaper kinds... and make sure you rinse him really well after any baths - lots of itchies are due to not being completely rinsed and that includes conditioner - Good luck ! |

| I do like oatmeal shampoo. my little girl chelsea has had skin allergies for about 4 years now. she didnt have them as a puppy. when she developed them, we tried several things for her from the vet. my best relief for her has been "aveeno bath natural collidial oatmeal" (a people product) along with bathing in the oatmeal shampoo offered by petedge under their name brand "top performance". and yes...rinse well! |

| Oatmeal shampoo can definitely help the itchies. Also, with whatever you use it is helpful to dilute it with water and then rinse really well. Also make sure she doesn't have any fleas. My Brandy got itchy and I searched her and spotted a flea. I got rid of the flea(s) but it was a couple weeks before I got her to stop itching. Her skin looked fine but I think she was really sensitive to flea bites and took a while to recover.
