| I hear you...lol. Well then I can continue with blabbering on about my stair concerns then What is your opinion about my boy going up and down the 5 cement stairs I have outside? He follows my shih tsu mix up after they go potty and since he's SO FAST I'm not always able to catch him. He isn't trained at all... I adopted him on Saturday from a young friend who couldn't keep him. He's 1 years old and all he can do (a little) is potty outside. I don't really trust him in the house yet. I will once I retrain him (I'm a great trainer by accident). I can always put a long leash on him as he scurries about the house and outdoors if those 5 stairs are bad for him. He's only 3 pounds (almost). I want him to have a week of adjustment before the training begins... |

| Welcome to YT. We had a pom when we were raising our children who developed knee issues in her later years but she wasn't a jumper so not sure what caused it. Our Laddy is 4.8lbs of activity he would walk all day long if we could and he runs and plays with his ball constantly, whereas Kyra will play for a bit then sleep. I think it really all depends on the dog. The house we just moved from had an upstairs and Laddy always climbed the stairs with no problems, Kyra almost fell down them once so she was banned from them lol.
