Wow! I'd missed the whole story! Glad I arrived for the happy ending. Amazing -- and a great example of why we need ID tags on our dogs!

No kidding! That was kind of crass comment to make about it being a good thing the little dog wasn't eaten! Good grief!!!

It was good to see that video again - Bengi looks so very happy! It's good to know he's home again and getting all the things Yorkies deserve like love, security, a warm, dry bed and lots of good, regular meals with people around that think he's just tops. Bet he sure missed all that when he was alone and lost. I wonder what he ate and more importantly, how he stayed hydrated? Suppose he ate things that visitors to the park threw down on the ground or someone who worked there was slipping him food?

I am so happy you got little Bengi back!!! OMG this is such wonderful news.

When Daisy was a puppy she ran out of our Motel room into the parking lot in Branson, MO. I was terrified about her getting hit or lost, but somehow my husband caught her. That was 9 years ago and I am still thanking God about that.

God was watching over your little one for sure!

Sometimes news people should just stick to reporting the news. I was appalled to hear them 'allude' to Ellie and her family perhaps letting Bengi run out of the hotel room by not mentioning that it was hotel staff that 'lost' Bengi. But, OMG...what on earth possessed them to suggest Bengi could have been eaten, or mention lions or what they dine on? They clearly didn't listen to or read their own report because they said that Bengi "was found by Disney workers and taken to the Animal Kingdom"...he didn't walk in there on his own...he was "taken" there by humans.

So, I guess, not only can you not fix stupid, stupid unfortunately this time failed to heed the 'warning' that sometimes you should 'remain silent and be thought a fool' rather than 'open your mouth and remove all doubt'...lol

Personally, I am just so super thrilled that Bengi is home again, and feel that those Disney staff are to be commended for their efforts, that I sent an email to Disney myself thanking them for what they did for Bengi!

Not to outdo anyone, I too shed a few tears every time I watch that video! So glad you and Benji were reunited and what a truly Happy Thanksgiving this will be!!!

Glad I'm not the only one who was like what the freak about the eaten by lion comments!

They should be a little more professional IMHO, mentioning animal theft is important informative news...not could have been eaten by lions...FYI to the reporter yes lions dine on any prey would she suggest or ask such in Benji was a little boy? Dramatic I know, but YTers get it.
